What is a Hackathon?

Campfire

A hackathon is a project-based coding competition. During HackOR, participants team up in groups of four to develop a tech solution to real-world problems, which is then presented to a set of judges.

With workshops, mentors, and collaborative teamwork, hackathons are great ways to build your skills in tech, design, and ideation.

At HackOR 2021, we provide 30+ hours worth of workshops and events, along with opportunities to collaborate with other students passionate about technical learning. We are very beginner friendly and encourage all students interested to join!
